Janice Murray Brooks Johnson's Obituary
The Lord looked down from the throne of grace and heard the prayers for His beloved daughter, and with outstretched arms He said, “Come home!”
Janice Murray Brooks Johnson passed from this life into eternity on January 1, 2025, at the age of 71.
She was born in Anniston, Alabama, on January 13, 1953, to Orval and Ruby Murray. She was preceded in death by both parents, and her sister, Judy Martin Hyatt. She graduated from White Plains High School and worked at the United States Postal Service for over 30 years.
Janice was generous and helped others as much as she was able, in whatever way she could. She was a kind and loving soul, who was a blessing to many. She loved spending time with family and friends, and she loved to laugh. Her legacy is the joy she brought to others.
She will be remembered by her daughter, Stephanie Johnson, and son, Matthew Brooks; three grandchildren, Brinton Johnson, Seanna Johnson, and Jilliana Brooks; siblings, Cheryl Clark, Jean (Gary) Miller, Lorrie (Ronnie) Moody, Jason (Gigi) Murray, Terri (Steve) Dimos, and Kim (Mark) Helms; along with many nephews and nieces.
We ask that you keep the Johnson family in your thoughts and prayers as they move along in these trying times.
