My Grandma taught me so much growing up. From cooking, a tiny bit of piano when she could- I enjoyed going to church on Sundays and watching her sing and praise. One thing she said to me is that “You get farther in life with honey than you do vinegar.” Because bees pollinate so more flowers can grow. I have applied this to my life since. She loved ALL of us and we loved her. Her other daughter, Stacy Joyner(Craig), other grandchildren, Payton Newman, Connor Newman, and three great grandchildren whom she ALSO loved very much; Angelique, Phoenix, and Clara. They will miss their Mawmaw and cherish the memories shared (albeit few), and I will cherish the 23 years of memories I shared with her. Thank you for loving and accepting us Grandma. We love you and miss you. I’m glad I got to speak to you in October if only for a little bit, and I will miss our phone calls with you and grandpa. She is missed and loved dearly by so many of us. She was there for all of the milestones, and I will hold these close to my heart.
