Glenda Doggett Logan's Obituary
Glenda Doggett Logan of Pell City formerly of Munford, AL passed away peacefully at the age of 73 on 9/4/2020.
She is preceded in death by parents, Webster Goodwin Doggett and Gladys Catherine Doggett, one brother Wilburn Harold Doggett and widowed by former husbands, Thomas “Tom” Logan and Cecil Terry Williams.
Survived by her fiancé, Clarence Hester of Munford, AL, daughters Dawn Perry Williams (James “Jimbo”) and Tonya Perry Bailey, one grandson, Jacob Dylan Dryden, all of Pell City, AL and three half-sisters Norma Jean Stephens of Munford, Peggy Doggett Steadman and Judy Doggett Reeves both of Texas.
She was a member of Bettaview Church of Christ, a devoted wife and mother. She retired from Anniston Sportswear after 20 years. She enjoyed spending time with family and friends, loved to travel and enjoyed shopping. She never met a stranger and was loved by everyone who met her. She enjoyed life and could light up a room with her beautiful smile and loving spirit and according to her grandson, she made the world’s best banana pudding!
Celebration of Life service will be held on Saturday, October 17, 2020, from 3PM until 6PM in the Fellowship Hall of Betta View Hills Church of Christ, 2140 US-78 Oxford, Alabama, 36203.
