Glenda was the first friend I made after moving to Alabama in 1975. As the two of us navigated through life's up and downs, she was always there with an uplifting word or instigating some fun thing to do. After I married Ron Bein, she and Terry Williams made a fearsome foursome, and we especially savored our weekends at the river. Life duties took us in different directions, to different states and then back, but we tried to stay in touch and meeting up again after years apart, we just picked up like we had seen each other yesterday. Rest in Peace, my friend. You are missed.
