Earl Franklin Humphrey's Obituary
Earl passed away Sunday morning at Regional Medical Center in Anniston at the age of 68.
He was born to Joseph Earl and Elizabeth Stephens Humphrey. Both preceded Earl in death as well as one of his sisters, Peggy Patey.
He worked at Sewell's Clothing Factory in Heflin for several years. He also worked at White Plains School (K-12) as a janitor as well as a singer who led the student body in the alma mater before the football team came into the gym.
He moved to Gulf Shores and worked with Gulf Coast Reservations as a reservationist plus oversaw the cleaning crew. Then he returned to North Alabama due to his health and to be close to his family.
Earl is survived by his son, Tyler; his sisters, JoAnn Anthony (Kenneth) and Tammy Beecham (Terry); and his brothers, Tim (Renita) and Terry Humphrey. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews and friends.
