Dan loved everything about the outdoors. He was an avid hunter and four-wheeler, and was known to escape to the Rocky Mountains for weeks at a time. A piece of his heart will forever remain in the mountains of Colorado. He was a very skilled and gifted master carpenter. He spent his career constructing and improving homes, which enriched the lives of countless families and their communities.
Beloved father, brother, uncle, second father to many, and most of all best friend; Dan was always known for being a true and trusted friend. He had a generous spirit, giving what he could without expecting anything in return. He never complained about anything, and through every challenge, Dan always kept a positive outlook on life.
He will be dearly missed.
When it is safe to once again gather, a Celebration of Life will be held in the Newburgh, New York area.
