I share the same memories as Sarah, April, and Wendi. Grandma was the same loving grandma to us all. She loved me to fix her hair. I spent countless hours fixing her hair and she didn't care how long it took me. We would wake up and watch The Price Is Right and Sweat to The Oldies, just like April remembers. Heidi was always by her side. We loved that dog so much, didn't we, Wendi!! Sarah, Grandma did enjoy her beer, LOL (always in moderation, of course!). All Grandma ever wanted was for us to just be there with her, she loved us all. I used to ask her, "Grandma, am I fat?" And she'd say, "No, you're pleasantly plump." My mom and I laugh about that a lot, but that sums up Grandma, full of encouragement and love. Of course, she was famous for her delicious biscuits; my mom now carries on that tradition. Her classic red lipstick was always on. Even if we sat at the house all day, she didn't care, she would have on that lipstick! But most memorable of all was her unconditional love. If I could say anything to Grandma, it would be, "I'm sorry for whatever pain you had in your life. I'm sorry if you were ever sad or lonely. I'm sorry for ever not being there when you needed me. But soon Paradise will be here. Soon Jehovah will resurrect all the children you've lost. And Grandma, I'll be there with you and life will be perfect. And you'll always have us forever! We will never say goodbye!" (Revelation 21:3, 4, "With that I heard a loud voice from the throne say: 'Look! The tent of God is with mankind, and he will reside with them, and they will be his people. And God himself will be with them. And he will wipe out every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore. The former things have passed away.'")
