Zachary Jed McCallie's Obituary
Zachary Jed McCallie, 31, of Piedmont, Alabama, passed away Saturday, Jan. 14, 2023.
He was born Feb. 22, 1991. He graduated from Glencoe High School with honors in 2009. He was an avid Auburn fan and loved his dog, Buck. He loved to fish and be outdoors. He also loved to cook.
Zachary was preceded in death by his grandparents, Rick and Helen McCallie and James and Alice Nail.
He is survived by his parents, Jed McCallie (Terri Herman) and Alice Hill; brothers, James Teet and Coti Herman (Brooke); sisters, Wendy Jones (Bumper), Stevi Couch (Teddy), and Chandler Herman; nephews, Blake Teet (Savanna), Bryson Jones, Blaze Teet, Drake and Maverick Herman; nieces, Alina Teet and Nora Herman; and a host of cousins.
There will be no funeral or memorial service. There will be a private gathering for family and friends.
Details will be announced at a later date.
