Winfield LaFain Hancock Jr “Dick”, 48, of Heflin, Alabama, died Tuesday, February 9,2021
He was born December 27,1972 in Bartow, Florida to Winfield Hancock Sr and Cheryl Hancock.
He was employed at Jones Transportation and formerly employed at C&Y Trucking.
His interests included family, cooking, grilling, spoiling his furbabies Saban and Trixie and doing yard work in his spare time. He worked very hard to support his family.
Mr. Hancock is survived by his wife, Stacey Hancock; father, Winfield Hancock Sr; sister, Tabatha (Steve) Woods; 2 daughters, Jessica Hancock; Melisa (Miguel) Medina; son, Jack (Caitlyn) Young; 2 stepsons, Derek ( Katy Morgan) Preston; Alex Preston; 4 grandchildren, Fabian Parsons; Trevon Mitchner; Miguel Medina; Jesenia Medina, 4 step grandchildren, Kalli Preston; Josie Preston; Blake Morgan; Lane Morgan
He was preceded in death by his mother, Cheryl Voyles
A Celebration of Life Service will be Saturday, February 20,2021 at 2:00 pm CST at Verdons Chapel Baptist Church, located at 12581 Hwy 46 Heflin, Alabama 36264
