William Jackson Strickland's Obituary
Jack Strickland, age 65, of Cropwell, Alabama gained his wings after a short illness on March 1, 2026. He was born on June 10, 1960. Jack was preceded in death by his son, Christopher Strickland; his parents, David Strickland Sr and Hazel Mosley; his sisters, Deborah Fields Powell and Kay Strickland Bailey.
Jack is survived by his grandson Kiran Strickland (Patty); great-granddaughters Hope Strickland and Lily Strickland (scheduled to arrive in April); a sister, Jan Gibson; brothers David Strickland Jr and Mark Strickland; and his ex-wife Sandi Strickland. Per Jack's wishes there will be no services.
Jack developed a love for printing at a young age and spent many years working at Bruce Printing and eventually opened his own business Jackson Printing.
Jack loved working on cars when he could and spending time with his friends. He was so loved by his friends who said he was one of a kind. As one of his friends said "The Coosa Island Neighborhood will never be the same without Jack."
Jack was a loving father, grandfather (Pawpaw) and great-grandfather. His greatest loves were Kiran, Hope and the soon to be arrival of Lily. Jack was a very proud pawpaw!
Jack leaves his mark in the hearts of everyone that knows and loves him. He will be dearly missed and always loved by us all.
