William R. Rockhart's Obituary
William R. Rockhart (Billy), age 56, passed away on Tuesday, September 30th 2025 at 4:23 AM at RMC in Anniston, Alabama.
Billy was a lifelong resident of Calhoun County. He was a man of many talents working in multiple areas of the county. He was always trying to make others laugh and have a good time no matter the circumstances. His personality was larger than life and he knew it. He will be missed by many.
He was preceded in death by his Mama, Mary Ellen Grimes; Grandparents, John and Ellen Martin; and Brother, Steve Rockhart. Billy is survived by the love of his life, wife, Nicole Rockhart; father, Roger Grimes (Carolyn); adopted mother in law, Shirley Sanford: Deanna Baldwin (Danny); brother, Blake Rockhart (Sheri); sister, Bonnie Grimes, as well as nieces; Dawn Cornett (Josh); and Daisy; great niece, great nephews, several cousins, and beloved friends.
Celebration of life was October 4th, 2025 at Genesis Worship Center in Jacksonville, Alabama, with Bishop Leroy Austin officiated.
The family would like to thank everyone for their prayers and taking time to honor Billy. His life made a significant impact on all who met him. May God bless you all!
