Tony Frank Russell's Obituary
Tony Russell, 68, of Centre, AL, passed away on May 17, 2025, at Riverview Regional Medical Center in Gadsden, AL, surrounded by his family. Mr. Russell is survived by his wife Susan Russell and his siblings, Lisa Ann Russell and Tim Russell. He was preceded in death by his parents, Frank and Ann Carolyn Russell.
Tony was a dedicated educator for many years and had a profound impact on the lives of numerous students. The Russell family requests your thoughts and prayers during this time of mourning. Information regarding services for Mr. Russell will be provided at a later time.
Final arrangements for Mr. Russell will be handled by Cremation Services of East AL in Anniston, AL. In leu of flowers the family asks that donations can be made to Summit's Sanctuary, a cause Tony cared so deeply about.
A Celebration of Life will be held at Cherokee Health and Rehab Education and Activities Building on Sunday, June 8, 2025 at 3:00PM.
