Tommy Tilton "Moose" Moore's Obituary
Tommy Tilton Moore “Moose” age 54 passed away peacefully on Wednesday
February 19, 2025 at Brookwood Baptist Medical Center in Birmingham AL
surrounded by his loving family. Tommy was born on December 30, 1970 to
James and Julia Moore where he spent most of his life.
Tommy is survived by his loving wife of 40 years Linda, daughters Jessica and
Angel Moore, 2 granddaughters Malayna and Millie Taylor, parents James and
Julia Moore, brother Donny Moore (Jennifer), brother in law Chris Crim (Honey),
sister in law Becky Baxter (Mike), nephews Mark Moore and Blake Jones
(Valerie), nieces Christian Baxter, Natalie and Camille Crim, parents in law Harvey
and Brenda Crim, several great nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his nephew Matthew Moore, grandparents, cousins and
several aunts and uncles.
Tommy was a caring and loving husband, father, pawpaw, brother and son. He
enjoyed spending time with his family but mostly spending time with his
grandbabies. He loved watching tv, eating and going fishing.
The family would like to thank Tommy’s entire medical team in the SICU for the
knowledge and care they provided during his sickness. To the family and friends
that called, prayed and sent texts, thank you for your words of encouragement and
sorrow. A special thank you to his SICU nurse Jesslyn Williams for taking such
good care of Tommy and making sure he was comfortable right to the end.
A memorial service will be held at Stockdale Baptist Church in Munford on
Sunday February 23, 2025 at 1 pm with Jason Pettus officiating.
