Todd Michael LaGessie's Obituary
Todd Michael LaGessie was born in Syracuse, New York, March 14, 1967 and grew up in Marietta, Georgia. He was a beloved husband, father, son, grandfather, brother, and uncle. He was a beacon of light in every room he entered and his passing leaves a deep void in the lives of everyone who ever knew him.
Todd was naturally mechanical. He could build or repair anything to perfection. A devoted man of God, he enjoyed volunteering his time at church teaching Sunday school, helping at VBS, aiding at afterschool programs and playing bass in the band. He was know for his generous spirit, always willing to help those in need or less fortunate. He was always teaching someone to fish, hunt or helping them to repair their car.
Todd had an unwavering dedication to those he loved. He adored his wife, Jennifer, who he was married to for 35 years, and their daughter, Marina Elizabeth Parrish (Dallas). His warmth touched numerous lives creating many deep and lasting friendships.
Todd leaves behind a legacy of laughter, kindness, and fortitude to those that were fortunate enough to know him.
A memorial service will be held Saturday, January, 17th at 11 am at Daily Street Baptist Church, 106 South Church Street, Piedmont, AL.
