I will always be grateful for Mawmaw. When I married Jason and moved down here, it was all really fast, and I was always so down and sad missing my family, especially my grandparents, but I could always go up to Mawmaw's and just talk to her. We talked for 4 hours straight one day. I also always knew she had my back too. I remember when I left Jack's and was trying to get my check; they made me stand there for so long, and then Mawmaw came in, and Lord, the looks she gave them, I thought she might fight someone, and she always made sure to make me feel like I was one of her own. I will miss her dearly, but I will always have her wisdom and knowledge to get me through life and to one day pass down to my children and younger generations of the family.
