Tim Lehr's Obituary
Timothy Rowe Lehr, age 66, of Ohatchee, Alabama, passed away on June 16, 2026, at UAB St. Vincent’s St. Clair. Born on May 13, 1960, to Milton and Sylvia Lehr, Tim was known for his unyielding spirit, tireless work ethic, and the stubborn determination that helped him overcome every obstacle life placed in his path.
For most of his life, Tim proudly owned and operated TL Logging, a business that reflected his dedication, skill, and commitment to hard work. He took immense pride in what he built and in the reputation he earned through years of honest labor.
When he wasn’t working, Tim enjoyed spending his time fishing, working on cars (especially his beloved Ford Bronco II and Cougar) building just about anything he could imagine from scratch, and spending time with his faithful dog, Girlfriend. He also enjoyed gathering with friends, sharing stories, and spending evenings on the dance floor, where his outgoing personality and gift for conversation ensured he never met a stranger. More often than not, however, he could be found enjoying a cup of coffee or a meal at Huddle House, where he was likely one of their most loyal and familiar faces.
Tim was a man who simply could not be kept down. Throughout his life, he faced many challenges and hardships, yet he always emerged stronger, carrying on as though nothing could slow him down. He was known for his strength, resilience, humor, friendliness, and relentless drive. His family will forever remember hearing, “Oh, while I’m thinking about it...” a phrase that rarely brought good news and usually meant Tim had just remembered something else they needed to hear about. While they may have dreaded those words at the time, they have become one of the many memories they now cherish.
He is survived by his sons, Lance (Brooklyn) Lehr and Lloyd (Morgan) Lehr; his grandchildren, Landry Lehr, Elena Lehr, Ethan Finch, and Paislee Finch; his mother, Sylvia Lehr; and his sister, Pam Lehr.
He was preceded in death by his father, Milton Lehr.
Tim’s legacy is one of perseverance, hard work, and a life lived on his own terms. Whether behind the wheel of a logging truck, working long hours in the shop, sharing stories with friends, or enjoying his usual seat at Huddle House, he left an impression on everyone he met. He will be deeply missed by his family, friends, and everyone who had the privilege of knowing him.
A Celebration of Life honoring Tim will be held on Saturday, June 27, 2026, at 3:00 PM in The Magnolia House at Cremation Services of East Alabama. Family and friends are invited to gather to remember Tim’s life, sharing stories, laughter, and the countless memories he leaves behind. As Tim never met a stranger, all who knew and loved him are welcome to join in celebrating a life well lived.
