Thomas "Tommy" Richard Smart, age 69 of Piedmont, passed away on September 14, 2022. He was preceded in death by his parents, Fred Smart and Ruth Lake; brother, Timmy Smart; and sisters, Betty Fortenberry and Effie Maddox.
Tommy is survived by his daughters, Tammy Smart (Joseph) and Amanda Smart (Brandon); grandchildren, Kevin Sims (Hailey), Alexis Smart and Landon Smart; siblings, Edward "Bodie" Smart (Mary), Fred Smart, Jr. (Barbara), Wayne Smart (Lagita), Carol Kirk (Virgil), Connie Lang (John) and David "Bo" Smart (Darla); and several nieces and nephews.
He loved to hunt, fish, ride over the mountain or down any back road. He loved the great outdoors.
