Happy heavenly birthday dad! I miss talking to you on the way home from work so much! I posted a few pictures- one of you working off shore, you were always so handsome! One of you walking in the woods ( this one takes my breath away.. like your walking towards heaven doing the thing you loved most) and of course your mother and father- Bonnie Jean And James Arthur Hamm. I have a feeling you gave them a run for their money. Even though I was two when Grandaddy died I feel you got a lot of your patience from him. Now grandma on the other hand wouldn’t take shit from nobody! Maybe that came later with life since grandad died so unexpectedly and she still had 3 more kids to raise at home. If I remember correctly you and Steve were in the military at the time. I am trying to say is that I think your patience from grandad and your headstrong ways from grandma made you a wonderful father. Plus you were so smart at figuring things out.
I love you and wish you were here to celebrate many more birthdays with us! Yes I am selfish- I want my daddy!!
