Teresa "Tiny" Ann Fincher's Obituary
Teresa “Tiny” Ann Fincher, born October 29, 1962, peacefully left this earthly world and entered her heavenly home on December 14, 2025, at her residence in Heflin, Alabama. She was surrounded by the love of her daughter, her grandson, several dear friends, and her devoted pet, Harley.
A Celebration of Life will be held on December 28, 2026, at 246 Burns Street, Heflin, Alabama. The family will receive friends from 2:00 to 3:00 p.m., with the memorial service to follow.
Teresa was a lifelong resident of Piedmont, Alabama, where she built deep roots, lifelong friendships, and a legacy of love and faith. She was preceded in death by her parents, Ima Jean Fincher and Johnny Fincher; her brothers, Ronnie and Rickey Fincher; her maternal grandparents, Inez and Richard “Hoot” Beecham; and her paternal grandparents, Tom Fincher and Jewel Cleveland.
Teresa spent many years working in the cotton mill industry until the late 1990s. With determination and a desire to grow, she later attended Ayers Business College, where she earned a degree in Business Administration.
She is survived by her daughter and heart, Lakisha (Brody) Walker; her cherished grandsons, Ashtyn and Silas Bryant, who were her greatest joy; her bonus daughter, Tara (Todd) Martin; her Aunt Ann Holsom back; and her best friend of 47 years, Cindy (Steve) Stone.
Teresa loved the Lord deeply and lived a life that reflected God’s light through kindness, humility, and service to others. She found her greatest happiness in time spent with her grandsons. She also found peace and fulfillment in gardening and canning, enjoying the simple rewards of nurturing life and providing for those she loved.
Teresa will be deeply missed by many, but for those who loved her, it is not goodbye—only see you later.
