Susan Marie Thomas' Obituary
Susan Marie Thomas (72) of Piedmont Alabama passed away surrounded by family on January 23, 2024. She was a masterful homemaker, a great cook, a loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Robert Norman and Rachel Helen Brown; her brother, Robert Wayne Brown, and her grandson Troy L. Jones.
Left to cherish her memory is her loving husband James Quincy Moss and their four children; their daughters Vickie Lynn (Richard) Loignon, Sherrie Diane (David) Minor, and Rhonda Kay (Gabriel) Law; and their son James Michael Moss. Six grandchildren, Rachel Marie Crippen, Bryan Minor, Matthew Minor, Angela Moss, Sarah Merino, Nicholas Merino; two great-grandchildren, Corbin Garrett and Kiah Crippen; and siblings, Marvin Preston Brown, Mary Allen and Lisa Colbert.
Susan was an avid thrifter and loved Goodwill stores and the Center of Hope, and was always looking for the best bargain. She was a friend to all who knew her and she will be greatly missed.
