I am Sharon's foster sister, Elizabeth. My parents raised her from the age of 3 through adulthood. We had a lot of fun times together. Sharon has always had a good sense of humor and a gentle spirit. She loved God and devoted her life to Him. I know I will unite with her again someday as God is first and foremost in our lives. My sincere condolences to the family for this tragic loss. My love to Sharon and her family.
I am Terri and I was Sharon’s caretaker. One of my best memories of Sharon was playing Gospel music to her while feeding her lunch. She begin trying to speak to me although she couldn’t but she gave me a reaction to the music. I then asked Mr. Carpenter did she like gospel music because at this point, I had no knowledge of that. He replied oh yes she was big on God and loved gospel music. He shared a memory of her wanting to go to church at the wrong time because of her dementia. It was the most precious video for me and that was a special moment for me with Mrs. Carpenter. After that I made it a regular routine to play Gospel to her during lunch. This brings me back to her daughters speech that I seen stating that Sharon forgot everything and her loved ones but she never forgot God. You are with the Lord now Sharon.
