Sarah Lois Hollingsworth's Obituary
Sarah Lois Hollingsworth was born in Anniston, Alabama on November 24, 1941. She entered
Heaven’s gates on January 6, 2021.
Lois is survived by her son, Stephen Goodwin (Steve), daughter, Monica Foster (Mitchell);
sisters, Jeanie Jones, Reble Foy, and brothers, Jerry Wayne Waldrop, James Russell Waldrop;
two grandchildren, Andrew Foster (Rachel), Kelley Foster; and great grandchild, Owen Foster.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Taze and Vera Waldrop; brothers Thomas Virgil
Waldrop, Cranford Waldrop, and James Richard Waldrop.
Lois lived her life with compassion and kindness towards everyone she met. She had an
unwavering faith in God and enjoyed dedicating her time to serving the Lord. She was a
member of Antioch Baptist Church and loved the members of her Sunday school class and
Women’s Ministry. Her faith provided support throughout her life and peace in her final
moments. She was blessed to have family by her side when she went to her final resting
place.
Due to her passing from COVID-19, we will not have a service at this time.
