Sandra Hyatt Comer Welch's Obituary
Sandra Hyatt Comer Welch, 67, passed away on Wednesday, July 6, 2022, at her residence. She was born July 19, 1954, in Calhoun County, Alabama.
Sandra was preceded in death by her parents, Luther and Juanita Lusk Hyatt; grandparents, Emmett and Bertha Ponder Lusk and Coke and Nannie Cross Hyatt; brother and sister in law, Allen and Alice Hyatt; and husbands, Jackie Comer and Jim Welch.
She is survived by her son, Patrick Comer (Alyssa); granddaughters, Haisley Nicole Comer and McKinlee Renee Comer; sisters, Peggy (Morris) Penny and Patsy Frost; nieces, Lisa Penny Tucker, Kerry Hyatt Turner and Leigh Anne Frost Smith; nephews, Michael Hyatt and Terry Frost; and many cousins.
Memorial Service will be held at 6:00 PM on Thursday, July 14, 2022, at Nances Creek Baptist Church. The family will receive friends from 5-6 PM at the church prior to the service.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the Wounded Warrior Project or any Veteran's charity of your choice.
