Samuel Keith Wilkinson's Obituary
Samuel Keith Wilkinson, 79, of Sylacauga, AL passed away at his residence surrounded by his family on Sunday, August 7, 2022. He was born in Bessemer, AL on January 7,1943. He graduated from Hueytown High School in 1961 and joined the Alabama Army National Guard until 1970. After, he travelled throughout the southeastern United States as a mechanical designer until 1998 where he settled in Sylacauga, AL on Lay Lake where he enjoyed the beautiful sunsets and wildlife until his final days.
He was preceded in death by Thomas Comer Wilkinson (Father), Evelyn Naomi Thomas Wilkinson (Mother), Thomas Comer Wilkinson, Jr. (Brother), Edna Evelyn Wilkinson Stanley (Sister), James Donald Wilkinson (Brother), Shawn Keith Wilkinson (Son). He is survived by Rebecca Jo King Wilkinson (Wife); three daughters: Beverly Ann Wilkinson, Amanda Dawn Grafius, Kayla Dyann Wilkinson Karls (Dalton); and four grandchildren: Tyler, Justin, Benjamin and Adalyn. A memorial celebrating the life of Samuel will be held at Russell Chapel Baptist Church on Saturday, August 13, 2022 at 2 pm.
