Sammy Monroe Sanderson passed away Oct. 5th, 2022 at home in Jacksonville, Alabama with his loving wife by his side. He was 68. He was born Dec. 23rd, 1953 to Jerry & Rosa Lee Sanderson of Sayre, Oklahoma
Sammy spent his childhood on the family farm in Sayre, Oklahoma. He spent many years in the military after graduating high school, but his passion was being an over-the-road trucker until he retired. He had a great love and passion for his family, his wife and for the Lord.
He is proceeded in death by his parents, his grandparents, brother – Jerry Lavern, sisters – Evelyn Marie & Verna Lee
He is survived by his wife Darlene & their fur babies of the home, brother – Tony Lynn & wife Susan of Erick, Oklahoma, aunt- Shirley Mitchell of Erick, Oklahoma, special daughters – Tiffany, Kristin & Angie of Alabama and many nieces, nephews & cousins
A private family memorial will be held at a later date
