Sally Swinney McLean, age 92, Rainbow City, AL. passed away Sunday, June 29, 2025. She was born in Franklin County, Alabama on Sunday, April 16,1933 to J.R "Bob" Swinney and Cora Gentry Swinney.
Burial at Williams Southside Cemetery; A Celebration of Life will take place at a later date.
She is preceded in death by her parents, J.R. and Cora Swinney; siblings, Nava Jones, Vergie Burfield, Conard Swinney, Beulah Jones, Lula Ray, Minnie Mashburn, Vera Adams, Era Ray, Curtis Swinney, Adele Nix, Mary Nell Brown, Olen Swinney, Calvin Swinney, and Jerry Swinney.
She leaves to cherish her memory, husband, John Clifford McLean; children: Debbie Bradford(Randy), Terry McLean David, and Eric McLean; grandchildren, Angela Bradford Paynter(Brad), Leah Bradford Wirtz(Matt), Kayla David Allen(Kyle), and Chelsey David Taylor(Stephen); great-grandchildren: Katie Paynter, Jordan Paynter, Maggie Paynter, Zach Paynter, Julian Wirtz, Everett Wirtz, Lexie Taylor, and Isaiah Taylor; and a host of nieces and nephews.
Sally loved shopping for her family, gardening, and seeing her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
