Ron was like a father to me, he took me in as his daughter when I married his son Daniel. He loved his family intensively and made sure we all knew that. He lived by God's will with love, compassion, and generosity. Not once did I hear him complain about anything because he rather enjoy the time he had with each one of us. I remember when I first met him he talked to me in Spanish to show his multiple language skills. When we visited he always made sure he had a pot of beans and home made salsa because he wanted to make me feel welcomed. He was a totally different person around his grandsons, he had the soul of a kid, making them laugh and making them happy with goofy faces. The boys will always remember his famous birthday song.
