Robert "Steve" Young's Obituary
Robert “Steve” Young, 58, of Piedmont, Alabama, passed away on Sunday, March 22, 2026.
Mr. Young was born on August 13, 1967, in Piedmont, Alabama, where he remained a lifelong resident. He worked as a general contractor and was known for his strong work ethic and craftsmanship.
A man of deep faith, Steve was known for his kindness and generosity. He was always willing to lend a helping hand, often sacrificing his own needs to ensure others were taken care of. He enjoyed gardening, loved animals, and had a passion for building and creating, including working with his 3D printer.
Mr. Young is survived by his wife of 38 years, Wendy Young; his mother, Connie Dianne Young; his sisters, Tammy Fagan (Mitchell) and Rhonda Young; his sister-in-law, Bianca Parker; his sons, Samual Young (Kristina), Anthony Young, and Cody Young; his grandchildren, Jocelyn Young, Jacob Young, Tristan Young, and Jayden Young; his nieces, Kristin Fagan and Tashia Parker; and his nephews, Adam Fagan and Dylan Maxwell.
He was preceded in death by his father, Billy George Young; and his niece and nephew, Heather Parker and Rusty Parker.
A memorial service will be held on Thursday, March 26, 2026, from 6:00 to 7:00 p.m. at 1708 Nisbet Lake Road, Jacksonville, Alabama 36265.
