Memorial services for Robert “Bobby” Champion Sr, 72, of Anniston will be held Saturday, February 19th, 11 a.m., at 49th Street Baptist Church with Rev. Ray Morris officiating. The family will receive friends from 10-11 at the church on Saturday. Mr. Champion passed away Saturday, February 12, 2022, at RMC. Survivors include his wife, Debbie Champion of Anniston and his children Danny Boyle, Robi (Tracy) Champion, Misty (Johnathan) Hansford, Crystal (Russ) Davis, 9 grandchildren Brittany Boyle, Kaitlyn (Alex Gonzalez) Boyle, Alicia (Michael Murray) Boyle, Seth Champion, Colton Clough, Madi Champion, Jenny (William) Bussey, Tara (Shane Reeves) Davis, Savanna Davis, 8 great grandchildren Kenley Boyle, Blake Smith, Sean, Katy, JD Bussey, Autumn (Scottie Sellers) Moudy, Michael “Bubba” Moudy, Summer Moudy and 1 great-great grandchild Novalynn Sellers, many nieces, nephews and cousins. Mr. Champion was preceded in death by his parents Jim and Rosa Lee Champion, 2 brothers Leonard & Durro Champion, and 7 sisters Ellen Martin, Ruby Lee Harris, Evie Livingston, Opal Pledger, Francis Harlin, Cloe Harper, & Jimmie Faye Johnson. He worked for City of Anniston,
M&H Valve, and several other places. Many people called him Champ. A special thanks to RMC 8th floor nurses, Dr. Kamran, & Dennis Johnson for all the love you showed to him and us.
