Robert Bloom's Obituary
Robert Bloom, age 85 of Vincent, passed away on April 19, 2020. Due to COVID-19 virus, a graveside service will be announced at a later date at Vincent City Cemetery with Nancy Cole officiating.
Robert was born in Gary, Indiana, on June 26, 1934, and was a veteran of the U.S. Army. He was retired from US Steel, Gary, Indiana, and was an avid golfer. Robert was a loving husband for 61 years, loving father, grandfather and great grandfather.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Anna Bloom; father, George Bloom; brothers, Charles Bloom and Edward Bloom; daughter, Regina Cowles; and grandchild, Jeremiah Cody Brasher.
Robert is survived by his wife, Betty Sue Bloom; daughter, Kathy Sue Brasher; sons, Charles Bloom and Joseph Bloom; brother, James Bloom; grandchildren, Zebulon Isaac Brasher (Jesse), Robert Segovia, Katherine Cowles Piske (Austin), Molly Elyse Jones (Jason), Benjamin Cowles, and Abigail Melissa Brasher; and great grandchildren, Libby Jones, Henry Jones, Jeremiah Brasher and Hampton Brasher.
