It is with heavy hearts and deep love that we announce the passing of Rita Clara Williams, Age 73 of Ashville, AL., A woman whose strength and grace touched every life she encountered.
Rita was more than a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend; she was the cornerstone of our family, the steady light that guided us through life’s storms. Rita faced life’s trials with a courage that inspired all who knew her. Having battled cancer multiple times, she met each challenge with quiet determination and unshakable faith, teaching us all that true strength is not loud or boastful, but steadfast, loving, and resilient. Even in the midst of pain, Rita extended kindness, wisdom, and warmth to everyone she met, reminding us what it means to live with grace and to fight with unwavering spirit.
She leaves behind a large and loving family, including a loving husband of 56 years James Earl Williams, Three children Sherry Weaver (Bill), J.J. Williams (Daisy), Julie Williams (Paul), 12 Grandchildren, 14 great Grandchildren, brother, sisters, nieces and nephews, who will forever cherish her memory and carry forward the lessons she so effortlessly taught—faith, perseverance, and the importance of love.
Rita’s life was a testament to God’s faithfulness, and her legacy will live on in the hearts of those she loved so deeply. Though we mourn her loss, we celebrate the incredible life she lived and the impact she left on all of us. Rita was not just a matriarch; she was a teacher, an example, and a true warrior of faith. Her life was a blessing, her memory a treasure, and her love a gift we will hold close forever
