Ricky Lynn Holmes' Obituary
Ricky Lynn Holmes, age 67, of Ragland, Alabama, passed away on December 23rd, 2025. He was born on October 2nd, 1958, to the late Paul and Mary Holmes.
Ricky was preceded in death by his parents; his siblings, James Holmes, William Holmes, and Paula Holmes Weaver; and his nephew, Eddie Weaver.
He is survived by his son, Richard (Kelly) Holmes; his niece, Charissa Bailey; his nephew, Benjamin Colt Weaver; and his brother-in-law, Keith Weaver.
Ricky had a lifelong passion for restoring old cars. Whether under the hood or polishing chrome, he found peace and purpose bringing classic vehicles back to life. His patience, attention to detail, and pride in his work were well known by those who shared his love for craftsmanship and nostalgia.
Ricky will be remembered for his strength, his dedication to his family, and the many hours he spent doing what he loved most. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
