I have not seen Ricky since highschool and even after I served 2 tours in Vietnam. I played guitar with him and Mark Harwell. R.I.P. old friend and my condolences to the family.

Although it’s been over 20 years since I’ve seen Ricky, I always considered him a friend. I knew that if we ever met again it would be like it always was. He always welcomed me in his home and made me feel welcome. We played music together and he was a big influence for me to learn guitar. We shared a love of music and good classic rock. We used to play on weekends at his home where we would watch music movies/documentaries, have some drinks, and play music. I have very fond memories of those days. He would’ve thought it was cool that I still have the Taylor guitar that I bought and played when I knew him. RIP Ricky.
