Friends are one of the blessings that we have in life and Ray was one that Judy and I are glad to have shared time and life's moments with. With the sorrow of this time, we also remember the good times, his laugh, his smile and his easy going personality and rejoice in knowing that he is in a better place with others he has cherished and that we will see him again some day. I was so sorry to hear of the passing of a wonderful man. I met him and Mrs. Charlotte on the yard sale many years ago. I will miss sitting and visiting with him like I did every year and taking him fried green tomatoes. Mr. Ray was such a precious man that I thought very highly of. He will be missed by everyone that knew him. Please know that all of you are in my prayers, especially his daughter and Mrs Charlotte. Heaven gained an Angel. Love from Deborah, Sharon and Gloven.
We, as Ray’s family and friends, are very sadden that he has left us, but Heaven is a much sweeter place because he is there. The special times we shared with Ray will now become sweet memories as we recall them. His soft voice, his humbleness and meekness, along with that mischievous laugh of his will be just a few of these memories. Ray, you rest now in the arms of Jesus knowing that you are deeply loved and missed.

I am so blessed to call you my Daddy and to have had you in my life these many, many years. I love you with all of my heart. Although I miss you terribly, I rejoice that you are with Jesus and will forever be surrounded by His Glory. Rest in sweet peace.
