Randy Lee O'Brien's Obituary
Randy Lee O’Brien, 69, passed away peacefully May 27, 2025 surrounded by his loved ones.
He was preceded in death by his mother Rochelle Preston, twin brother Ricky O’Brien, sister Cristi Preston, and grandmother Gladys Bowling.
He is survived by his wife of 34 years Melissa O’Brien, daughters Whitney Layton (Greg), Casey O’Brien, and Laura Kilgore; grandchildren Ayanna (Diante), Dayson, and Mela Foster, Connor, Camden, Braxten, Alyssa, and Kaitly Layton; great grandson Calex Wood; brother Kenny Preston, and cousin Vickie Mize. Also his 9:15 daily phone call gossiping buddy Kristy Jobson.
After retirement you could always find him chauffeuring one of the grandkids around. One of his greatest joys was being called PeePaw. On the weekends you could find him with his sidekick Camden at the local Dollar General.
He will always be loved and deeply missed by his family and friends. A celebration of life will be held at Bynum Baptist Church, Saturday, June 14 at 2:00pm, and friends are welcome an hour before to visit the family.
