Phillip Leroy Reaves' Obituary
We are sad to announce the passing of Phillip Leroy Reaves born June 16, 1959, and died April 11, 2023. Mr. Reaves was surrounded by his loved ones at the time of passing.
Phillip was a native of Anniston, Alabama. He graduated from Ayer’s Community College with a certificate in Machinery. He was a long-time employee of Ed Lands Machine Shop and South Wire.
Phillip had a love for music, riding motorcycles, fishing, working on cars, or gardening. He was never known for sitting still or talking on the phone.
He is survived by his wife of 22 years, Becky Reaves. Daughters, Shannon Terry (Jon), Patricia Collins (Adam). Sons, Matthew Reaves (Tiffany), Lee Stinson (Jennifer), Harley Lindsey (MaKayla), Tristan Pennington ( Kayla). Phillip had thirteen grandchildren and one great grandchild. He had one living brother, Bryan Reaves with many nieces and nephews.
He was Preceded in death by: Father, Leroy Reaves
Mother, Mary Payne and Betty Reaves. Sister’s, Melissa Stinson and Rosa Brown. Brother, Roger Reaves.
A memorial service will be held at Oxford Lake, pavilion #8 on Saturday, April 15th at 5:30 pm for family and close friends. The service will be officiated by Brittany Gilmore of SouthernCare New Beacon Hospice. There will be a balloon release in Phillip's honor.
