Nora "Lynn" Hulsey's Obituary
Nora "Lynn" Hulsey, 55, of Anniston, Alabama went home to be with the Lord on March 18, 2026 after an extended battle with cancer.
Lynn was born November 2, 1970 at Elgin Air Force base in Fort Walton Beach, Florida. She lived a life filled with love for her family and a quiet strength and stubbornness surpassed only by her generosity and kindness. She was known for always putting others before herself, and for spending time with her family and her puppy Roxie. She had a witty and sometimes dark sense of humor, and she touched the lives of everyone who had the honor and privilege of knowing her.
Lynn is survived by her loving husband, Shane Hulsey of Anniston, AL; two sons, Joshua Nix (Kayla) of Fort Payne, AL, and Dylan Hulsey (Bryanna) of Pell City, AL; two daughters, Aimee Slater of Anniston, AL, and Faith Holloway (Skylar) of Weaver, AL; 12 grandchildren, two sisters, and one brother. She was preceded in death by her parents, William and Arlene Benson; a son, Christopher Nix; a sister, Beth Pigg; and her late husband Paul Morris; along with her loving and faithful companion Roxie.
Lynn had a passion for traveling and animals, she truly loved goats and beluga whales, and she will be remembered for her incredible strength and resilience when battling cancer and diabetes. Most of all, she will be remembered for her love for her husband and family.
A memorial service will be held Monday, March 23, 2026 at 2:30 PM at the Magnolia House at Cremation Services of East Alabama, located at 733 White Plains Road, Anniston, AL. Officiating will be Randy Vines of Cedartown, GA.
Lynn will be deeply missed and forever loved by all her many family and friends.
