Nancy Jane Tucker's Obituary
Nancy Jane Tucker was born in January of 1961. Nancy was originally from Irondale, Alabama but had resided the last 20 years in Pell City, Alabama. Nancy passed away on March 22, 2024 peacefully at home with family by her side.
Nancy is survived by her daughter Jennifer (Randy), son Wayne “Boo” (Elisha), grandson Draven, granddaughter Haley(Brandon), sister Vickey, four nieces Lisa, Chasity, Lyndsey, and Megan, and one nephew Steven, life long friend James “Jim” (his children Haley & Harley), pets Esmeralda “Izzy”, Sabrina, as well as her grand-cats and grand-dogs.
Nancy was predeceased by her Mother Helen, father Matt Sr., brothers Jimmy (Mary Ann), Buddy (Lynn), Matt Jr. (Fern), three nephews Bobby, Alan, Matt III, niece Ashley, and a great nephew Paul and her partner Ricky.
Nancy was a
hard worker. She worked as a painter until she was in a disabling car accident. Nancy could be described as a “Jack of all Trades”, she had a vast knowledge of things from home/auto repair to baking and most things in between. Nancy loved to cook, draw, garden, and spending time with family and friends. Nancy was happy being the life of the party singing karaoke or just relaxing by watching Lifetime movies or true crime documentaries. Above all else she loved being a Mom and Nanny.
Nancy is described as being strong, stubborn, and strong willed as she fought every obstacle or road block put in her away. She did not mind fighting for the people or things that she loved. If she set her mind on something she was determined to see it through. She was an amazing friend and would do whatever she could to help anyone. Nancy touched lives of many people and will leave a void in many hearts. There’s not enough worlds to describe how she was loved or how she loved. She will forever be missed.
Nancy’s family is considering hosting a celebration of life party sometime in later Spring and will reach out when details have been determined.
