Mildred Janette Goss' Obituary
Mildred Jeanette “Crawford” Goss 91, A life long resident of Albertville passed to her Heavenly Home from her beloved Albertville Nursing Home on February 4, 2020 surrounded by loving family members.
Throughout her years Ms. Goss was employed at H.D. Lee & retired following numerous years there as a factory worker. She enjoyed gardening, cooking & camping at area Guntersville Lake. The past eight years she loved sharing & caring for her fellow residents & the staff at Albertville Nursing Home. They were family to her....& she to them. She was crowned their Albertville Nursing Home Queen in 2015 & was then selected to the Top 10 in the State of Alabama to compete in the Ms. Alabama Nursing Home Pageant. These honors were some of the highlights of her 91 years....but her greatest JOY was sharing the love of the Lord with others.
Special thank you & blessings to her sister in law Peggy Crawford & nephew Steven Crawford for their faithful care & for loving her so well along with daughters Connie, Martha & sister Debbie. Also to her physician Dr. Ufford & all the staff at Albertville Nursing Home for their constant loving care & devotion.
She was preceded in death by her husband Junior & her son Ronald. She’s survived by daughters Martha McCauley (Kenneth), & Connie Goss, sisters Sue Sassenberger & Debbie Smith (Steve).
Her family requests that to honor her a gesture of kindness be made to another precious senior citizen.
Cremation (per her request) was entrusted to Cremation Services of East Alabama.
