Michael Andrew Stash's Obituary
Michael Andrew Stash, 57, known to his friends and family as Mike, passed away on May 7, 2023. Born on March 8, 1966, in Carrollton, GA, Mike was the beloved son of Alice and Dan Stash.
Mike began his career as a young man, working for a newspaper company to help his dad support their family. Over the years, he worked for various companies, finally settling with Nexeo Solutions, now known as Univar, in Lincoln, AL. Mike's dedication to his work was a source of pride for him and he will be remembered as a diligent and hardworking man.
In his free time, Mike had a few hobbies that he loved. He was very proud of his yard and would spend hours cutting grass to keep it looking perfect. He also enjoyed tinkering with cars and especially his speakers to get the perfect sound when listening to his boom boom music. Mike was also a trickster and loved playing tricks on his family and never missed a chance to make them laugh. Take him out in public and he for sure had everyone's attention. One thing for sure is that he never met a stranger and would never hesitate to help anyone in need, even when he didn't have it to give.
Mike is survived by his loving wife, Beverly; daughters, Meghan and Katherine; mother, Alice; and brother, Richard. He is predeceased by his father, Dan; and sister, Stephanie.
Mike will always be remembered for his dedication to his work, his playful sense of humor, and his love and commitment to his family and friends. His presence in the lives of those he touched will be forever remembered and deeply missed.
