Michael Shane Sears' Obituary
Michael Shane Sears, 52, of Anniston, Alabama, passed away on May 23, 2025. Born on November 29, 1972, at RMC in Anniston, Michael spent the majority of his life in the community he called home.
Michael was a skilled brick mason by trade, dedicating most of his working years to the craft. He was a man of many passions—he found joy in playing the guitar, working on small engines, and had a special appreciation for watches. His hands were rarely still, always building, fixing, or strumming a tune.
He is survived by his three beloved sons: Cory Sears, Levi Ogle, and Bradley Newell. He also leaves behind his mother, Ruby Darlene Brooks, and his stepfather, Billy Ray Brooks; his sister, Tina Conner; and her children, Lindsey Foster and Dylan Frye.
He will be remembered for his hardworking spirit, his quiet strength, and the love he held for his family. His presence will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, June 3, 2025, at 2PM at Cornerstone Fellowship Church in Weaver, AL. All who wish to pay their respects are welcome to attend.
