Michael Nelson's Obituary
Michael Nelson, 48 of Alexandria passed away peacefully at RMC on April 13, 2026 surrounded by his loving family. Michael was always known for being the funniest guy in the room. He will be greatly missed.
He is preceded in death by daughter Blakley Nelson, father James Nelson, nephew Ryan Nelson, Mawmaw Mavis smith, uncles Steve, Rickey, and Brian smith, and special uncle Blake shears.
He is survived by mother Barbara Smith, granddaughters Cali and Thea McKay, sisters Jaime and Heather Nelson, nieces Shelby Nelson, Caylee Thompson, and Judith Bryant, nephew Tanner Nelson, great nephews Ayden White and Leo Nelson, special aunt and uncle Sandra and Arnie Winningham, uncles Harold and Eddie smith, aunt Ronda Anderson, mother of his child Marti Shuler, and several cousins.
