Lt. Michael "Mick" Louis Casalini's Obituary
Lt. Michael “Mick” Louis Casalini was born July 27th, 1964 in Anniston, Alabama and resided in both Randolph and Calhoun counties during his lifetime. Mick is a 1982 Saks High School graduate and service member in the United States Navy for 4 years. Mick passed away peacefully on February 10, 2025 leaving behind a life defined by service, devotion, and love. Mick dedicated 30 years to protecting the state’s wildlife and natural resources as a distinguished Alabama Conservation Enforcement Officer. His dedication and integrity made a lasting impact, earning him the respect of colleagues and the gratitude of his community.
Mick’s greatest love, however, was his family. Mick is survived by his high school sweetheart and beloved wife, Kimberly Casalini, whom he met when they were just 16 years. Their love story was one of unwavering commitment and partnership for 40 years. Together, they built a beautiful family, raising their sons, Michael Casalini (Fiance Candice Breno) and Anthony Casalini (Wife Joanna Casalini), who will always cherish his guidance, humor, and love. Mick found immense joy in his role as a grandfather to Berkley Casalini, Cade Casalini, and Holden Casalini, who brought light and laughter into his life. Mick leaves behind a loving sister, Sonja Casalini, from Anniston, Alabama. Mick is preceded in death by Frank and Evelyn Casalini.
Mick’s legacy is one of honor, kindness, and an enduring love for both his family and the great outdoors. He was a protector, a mentor, and a friend to all who knew him. His memory will live on in the hearts of those he touched and in the land he worked so hard to conserve.
A celebration of Mick’s life will be held at Parker Memorial Baptist Church DeArmanville Campus located at 4229 US 78 East Anniston, Alabama on Saturday, February 15th at 1pm where family and friends will gather to honor and remember the remarkable man he was. Visitation with family will take place at 12pm lasting one hour prior to the service. Family is pleased to accept flower arrangements or donations to Police Benevolence Association.
Rest in peace, Mick. Your watch is over, but your love and legacy will endure forever.
