Michael James Hugh Buse's Obituary
A memorial service for Michael James Buse better know as Fred of Ohatchee, Al will be held October 19, 2025 at 3:00 p.m. at Boiling Springs Baptist Church. There will be a visitation one hour prior to the service.
Fred began his much needed rest in the arms of his savior Jesus Christ on October 9, 2025. Left to cherish his memory is his wife Sina Buse, son Levi Buse, step children Brady Pitts and Emma Pitts, mother Becky Buse, sisters Mary Shelton (Kyle), Doris Stubbs (Troy), nieces Destany Wood, Savannah Stubbs, great nephew Liam Corriveau and friends and family that loved him dearly. He’s preceded in death by his father Charles Buse and grandparents Milford and Josephine Sims and Lorene Edgil, and John Buse.
Fred was retired from the Anniston Army Depot and had recently started a job with the City of Pell City, which he truly enjoyed. To know Fred was to love him, he had one of the best sense of humor, he was kind hearted, a very hard worker, loved the outdoors, hunting and fishing were his hobbies. He had a quiet kind soul, but once you got to know him there was nothing you wouldn’t love about him. He loved with all his heart even if it was hard for him to always show it. One of his greatest blessings and joys in life was becoming a Dad. He couldn’t have been more happy than in the moment he first laid eyes on that sweet boy. He loved Levi and was so proud to be his Dad.
Fred began his walk as a Christian and gave his life to Jesus many years ago and for that his family is truly thankful in knowing that they will all meet again when all is made new.
Fred’s favorite verse,
"I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me."
- Philippians 4:13
