Ms. McKala Shayne Dempsey, age 29 of Anniston, AL, passed away on May 6, 2026, in Anniston, AL.
A memorial service will be held on Friday, May 15, 2026, at Faith Worship Center in Glencoe, AL from 12pm to 2pm.
McKala was born in Anniston, AL, on April 8, 1997, to Brandy Mann and Scott Dempsey. McKala is survived by her daughter October Bradley, her son Grant Tidmore, her fiancée Matthew Kyle Burk, her mother Brandy Autrey, her father Scott Dempsey (Jennifer), her sisters Morgan LaCorte (Joey), Marylen Autrey, Sierra Autrey, Amiee Wagoner, Charlotte Dempsey, her brother Nicholas Dempsey, her grandparents Danny and Donis Pitts, Danny Dempsey and Ramona Horton, her aunt Lendy Collins (Joel), many cousins and a niece & nephew.
McKala is preceded in death by her grandparents Mona Dempsey and Lamar Mann (Debbie).
McKala graduated from Glencoe High School and enjoyed being in the Glencoe Marching Band. She valued her time in Girl Scouts where she made many lifelong friends. She will be remembered for her strong will and altruistic and outgoing spirit.
