Mary Mechel Johnson's Obituary
Our beloved mother Mary Mechel Johnson (Paris), passed away Thursday June 25, 2026 peacefully surrounded by family and friends. She was born in Cullman, AL to Joseph (Slick) Paris and Gloria Diana Paris (Waid), however grew up and resided in Anniston, AL. She is survived by her husband of 43 years Fred Johnson Jr., her daughters Cathy (Bubba) Pearson, and Ashley (Joseph) Goode, her grandchildren Jehden, Aubree, Ava, Haven, and Riley, her siblings Barry (Danielle) Paris, and Kimberly Paris. She is preceded in death by her parents Joseph and Diana, her sibling Jody Paris, and grandson Ayden Pearson.
Celebration of Life will be held Monday June 29, 2026 at the Longleaf Event Center 920 Museum Drive Anniston, AL 36201, from 1pm to 4pm. Any fond memories or photos you feel like sharing and celebrating please feel free to bring.
