Mary Jo Hinson, age 75, of Piedmont, Alabama born on March 1st, 1947 passed away on Sunday August 28th, 2022
Mary Jo worked at Walmart in Jacksonville, Alabama for many years and was known as Ms Jo or Mama Jo. She loved her job and all the coworkers and customers she encountered.
She is preceded in death by her husband Jerry Hinson, her soulmate Mikey Hissong, her parents Woodrow and Fairis Badgett, her brother Hugh Badgett, her granddaughter Mary Frances Chatham, and her great grandson James Alvy Fowler IV.
She is survived by her 3 children Tommy Smith of Piedmont, Vonda (Bobby) Chatham of Willow Springs, NC and Angela (Earl) Elwood of Holden Beach, NC .. she has 6 grandchildren Candice, Dixie, Victor, Harley, Hailey, and Cheyenne and 14 great grandchildren.
