Margie Mobley Floyd's Obituary
Margie Mobley Floyd, 85, of Piedmont, AL passed away on September 19, 2024 at Piedmont Health Care.
Mrs. Floyd was a loving, caring mother and wife. She worked all through her life, beside her husband of 62 years. She enjoyed gardening and spending time with her entire family. She took time to always be there for all her family. Our family was truly blessed to have her as our mother.
She would always say, "I have been blessed to have a family and I love each and every one of you and don't forget it".
Mrs. Floyd was a member of the Piedmont Church of the Nazarene where she loved the lord and her church family. There will be a Private Graveside burial at Carmel Cemetery.
She is preceded in death by her husband Therman Floyd, her daughters Jana Spears and Myra Moore, her son-in-law Troy Shields Jr., both parents Robert Clarence and Mary Bell Mobley, and also her siblings Dorthy McFry, Lewis Mobley, Ruthie Mobley, Willard Mobley (Fayrene), and Maryjo Harden (Bobby).
She is survived by two daughters Katrina Vinyard (John) and Lisa Shields, two sons Jody Floyd (Jennifer) and Michael Floyd (Destiney), two son-in-laws Marty Spears and William Moore, one sister-in-law Clyde Mobley, numerous nieces and nephews, ten grandchildren, four great-grandchildren, and also two great-great grandchildren.
