Linda Faye McCrelles' Obituary
Linda Faye McCrelles, 75, of Jacksonville, Alabama, passed away peacefully on April 30th, 2026. Linda was born on June 30th,1950, in Cedartown, Georgia, to the late Roy and Carrie Robinson.
A small memorial will be held Saturday, May 9th, 2026, and the service will start at 5:30pm at Genesis Worship Center 251 Rocky Hollow Rd., Jacksonville, AL.
Linda was a wonderful lady full of life, spunk and laughter. She loved Her family, the outdoors and the beach. She Also enjoyed Painting, bingo and crossword puzzles. But she will mostly be remembered for her love of playing the piano for the Lord. Mrs. McCrelles was a graduate of Jacksonville High School class of 1969. She attended Jacksonville State University. She retired in 2012 from the Houston Cole Library as a library technician.
Mrs. McCrelles is preceded in death by her parents, her son Dustin McCrelles ,her three brothers- one being her twin, one sister and many other relatives. She has survived by her husband of 46 Years Kenneth McCrelles , her daughters, Leslie Hammett (Derrick), And Daphne Wilson Her six grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
The family would like to send out great gratitude to the staff of Anniston Health and Rehab and Gentiva Hospice for their wonderful care and love for Mrs. Linda over the past year.
In lieu of flowers the family is asking for donations to Saint Jude’s, in Mrs. McCrelles memory.
