Laura Faye Kimbrell Brown's Obituary
Laura left her Earthly home on July 10th, 2025. She was born on September 10th, 1946 to Ernest M. Kimbrell and Ommie Annie Sue Kimbrell.
She worked many years in textile. She retired from Russel Corp in Alexander City, AL.
After retirement, she enjoyed spending time with her husband, children, and grandchildren. They remember fondly there was always a big spread on the table. She enjoyed cooking for her family. The most requested thing for her to cook were her homemade biscuits, chocolate pie, and her pound cakes.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband of 52 years Reginald "Buddy" Brown, her son Timothy Brown, and her daughter Shelia Bailey; her grandchildren Frankie Williams, Cash Brown, and Addison Williams; her sister Jackqualine Dennis; her brothers Gene Coker, Garron Coker, Robert Kimbrell, and Ernest Kimbrell.
She leaves behind her children Ronnie (Khara) Brown, Tracy (Gene) Hill, and Reggie Brown; her grandchildren Lori (Ben) Patterson, Megan (Jace) Harper, Joanie (Spencer) Morris, Coty Williams, Ryan Brown, Kyle (Katie) Williams, Hailee (Justin) Brown, Abbey (Kasey) Brown, Jacob Walker, Matthew Porter, Sarah Brown, Waylon Brown, and Brilynn Cox; 8 great grandchildren; sister Deloris Sanders, and several nieces and nephews.
